ACCOMODATIONS

Cabins
All our cabins face the lake and offer a magnificent view of the warm morning sun, a full moon in a star studded sky and the northern lights dancing directly above you. Each of these cabins is fully self-contained with its own flush toilet, hot and cold running water, shower, towels, bedding/blankets/pillows, kitchenette, refrigerator, wood heater, propane cooktop, and 24 hour electricity.

Lodge
The lodge is where our guests dine on some of the best food in the North. Hearty breakfasts, delicious suppers, and tasty desserts are all considered "the norm".
The lodge also features a small tackle and gift shop. We also have a shuffleboard, as well as other games, if you feel like some more competition other than catching the largest fish!

Outposts
Want to rough it a little and yet catch fish galore? Book a trip in an outpost camp for a sense of total independance, serenity and fantastic fishing in the wilderness. Privacy on your very own island!

TRAVEL

What to Bring
Our weather can vary from hot to cold so you should be prepared for both, by dressing in layers. Insects are generally not a problem around our main camp or on the water. Upon confirmtion we will provide our guests with a complete suggetion list.

<Overnight at the Float Plane Base
Arrangements will be made to stay overnight in Missinipe (Otter Lake) so you are ready for the early morning fly-in to Oliver. There are top quality cabins, a restaurant/motel, and a campground at Missinipe.
When returning home, you will not have to stay overnight since you will arrive back at Missinipe in the mid morning. Most guests who fly home on commercial carrier back via La Ronge and then Saskatoon usually make it home on the same day.

How to Drive to the Float Plane Base
Drive through Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada, north on Highway #2 through the town of La Ronge and continue up to Missinipe (at Otter Lake) which is where Osprey Wings' floatplane base is located. There is ample free parking at Osprey Wings.

How to Fly to the Float Plane Base
Fly to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, from all major Canadian and U.S. cities. Then transfer to either Transwest Air (1-800-667-9356 or 1-306-665-2370) or Norcan Airlines (1-866-329-2222 or 1-306-765-3500) for a short flight up to La Ronge.
A shuttle van will then pick you up at the La Ronge airport and transport you to Osprey Wings' floatplane base in Missinipe. As an alternate, we can assist you in renting a vehicle, or be chauffeured, from Saskatoon to the float plane base, if you choose. Our travel agents can help you make the best arrangements.
For private pilots, La Ronge is a major northern airport center where you can refuel and/or park your plane. Missinipe, where the float plane base is located, also has a 3000 foot gravel airstrip and safe parking.

Please contact us for the best travel options available and for assistance with your arrangements.
